Help with an outing

Our troop wants to do something fun outside of our meeting! Is there anyone that would like to plan an outing for us??? You could come up with the idea or I could ask the girls what they would like to do. You make the arrangements and I will take care of all the paperwork. Contact me anytime.

Nut Sales~

We did a great job on our nut sales! We as a troop reached our goal of selling at least 10 cans per girl. Thank you to all of those that exceeded your personal goal and helped the other girls to acheive the troop goal! Girl Scouting is awesome.

Dance was Great!!!

The dance was great! We had a very good turn out. The girls and the dads looked like they were having fun. Thank you dads for spending that quality time with your daughters. I could see on their faces how much it meant to them!

2010 Girl Scout Spring Fling - Hawaiian Luau

It is time for that adorable night when the daddy's get to take their daughter(s) to a dance. This year's theme is hawaiian luau! Flyers will be sent home at the April 9the meeting.

Our troop will be putting together a basket for the event. Your daughter will be signing up to bring an item on April 9th.

Encampment

Wow! Encampment was great! The girls seemed to have a lot of fun and they were very well behaved. We even got a compliment on how well behaved our girls were when we stopped to have dinner at the pizza place on the way to encampment.

I will post some pictures soon for all to see. Be sure to keep this in mind for next year!

Thinking Day

Thinking Day will be held on February 26th at Lilac School 6:00pm. We are representing Germany. Look for your e-mail with more information.

~Our First Overnight~

It is almost time to go on our first troop overnight. We will be sleeping indoors at the Escondido Program Center. We will be leaving on Friday, January 15th and returning on Saturday, January 16th. We only have 1 more meeting to finalize our plans before our trip. Please try to have your daughter attend the meeting on Jaunary 8th so she can be part of the planning.

Please contact me if you have any questions. The girls will be bringing home a packing list for the overnight.
